Bill and Judy Sayle are two of the top producers of Nantucket Lightship Baskets and actilvely weaving on Island.  They have been practicing the craft since the late 1960's 
Bill's father, Charlie F. Sayle Sr. was one of the first carvers for the Nantucket purses made by Jose Formoso Reyes who invented the purse style in 1948.
 Each purse is custom made with white oak staves and carved oak handle. Available in many sizes and tops. 
The top can be embellished with custom carving of your choice.
