Judy Brinck

Judy has painted folk art for twenty years.  Drawn by livelong love of history, she is inspired by the primitive nature of things past.  Her original mermaids, maps and other folk pieces draw on design and style used in the 18th and 19th century.  Infused with a touch of whimsy, her compositions are contemporary while paying homage to times gone by.

For the past twenty years, Judy has been honored nationally by Early American Life with the distinguished Early American Master Craftsman Award.  A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Judy and her husband make their home along the Rhode Island coast.
