A great well constructed work basket with wide thick hickory staves and carved heart shaped handles. The base is Pine with two lathe turnings and four concentric rings. The exterior bottom is stippled "Sept 1 1877" Untouched condition with a great dark patina. 9 ¾” Diameter x 5” High. unknown maker, c. 1877
