Sylvia Antiques has been actively dealing in American antiques since 1927.

Our storefront is housed in the historic Pacific Club at 15 Main Street on Nantucket. We carry a wide selection of items with an emphasis on scrimshaw, lightship baskets and Nantucket made pieces. We also always have a fine collection of Americana, folk art, paintings, furniture and other marine related items. I have been fortunate enough to work with a lot great collectors both privately and publicly such as museums and other institutions.

There is nothing like creating a long lasting relationship through antiques. You really get to know someone through their tastes. I have been fortunate enough to meet some great people in this industry over the years and I look forward to establishing more down the road.
