I have always had a fondness towards folk art; simple to ornate, an everyday art form made by the untrained with function the main intention, expressive, but for the most part ulitarian.

Much of folk art is unsigned and judged solely by its own quality and merit. This area is vast and covers everything from furniture to scrimshaw, decoys to baskets, paintings, carvings and a long list of other objects.
