Originally intended as a space saver in homes over 100 years ago, nested groupings of Nantucket baskets have become one of the most popular and wonderfully decorative ways of displaying baskets in one’s home - whether fully nested with its radiating handles or placed along a surface in ascending order. They also represent a highly elevated level of skill when it comes to their construction from exact spacing of handles to proper alignment of rims when nested. We are proud to feature a selection of nests crafted meticulously from a variety of materials and available in an assortment of sizes by artists such as noted Nantucket artisans Bill & Judy Sayle, Lucille LaRochelle, and Larry Brewster.
